Fresh Start: A Creative Journaling Workshop is a hands-on primer on how to start and keep a journal. It is designed specifically to help you form the habit of memory keeping, which can be a very life-enriching addition to your routine this new year. This workshop is beginner friendly but also open to anyone who wants to freshen up their journaling habit and seeks to make it a more effective part of their life!

Length of workshop: 3 hours
 
In this workshop, participants will learn:
A. How to begin and practically set up a journaling habit
B. The purpose and benefits of creative journaling 
C. How to explore art and creativity in the pages of their journals even without prior artistic skills
D. How to approach this creative hobby with realistic expectations and make it a more sustainable activity, not a burden!

Teacher Bio
Nica Cosio is a freelance graphic artist and business owner. She runs a co-working space and cafe called Honeycomb Manila with her husband where they also organize many different creative events like art exhibits, workshops and coffee tasting sessions. What she is most passionate about is memory keeping and tactile arts. She specifically enjoys rubber stamp carving, scrapbooking, collage making and drawing with her children. She is constantly working on an art project exploring different materials and methods! Nature greatly inspires her so she spends her free days hanging out in the park or going on hikes.
